UMBRELLA KAZBRELLA
A British
inventor has brought out a new design of umbrella, which folds inwards instead
of outward with the aim of stopping water dripping onto the floor. Rather than
draining the rainwater of the floor when it is
close, just like normal umbrellas, the Kazbrella folds the opposite way, leaving the drips of water inside it.

Jenan Kazim
The inventor
Jenan Kazim, an aeronautical engineer, came up with the idea after his
mother-in-law complained her regular umbrella had dripped all over the floor of
her house. Kazim said that the new design also solves the problem of poking
passers-by in the head with a normal umbrella's spokes because it opens from
the top rather than the bottom which means that users can stay dry for longer
by putting their umbrellas down once inside, avoiding damage by strong gusts of
wind.The device
is now in the final design process before being put into production, and it is
expected to cost about £45 ($75). Great invention!
