WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU RIGHT CLICK AND HIT REFRESH ON PC DESKTOP

Today i was about writing a post, then I suddenly right clicked on my mouse and selected refresh. Then the thought came into my mind, "Why do we constantly right click and select refresh"? So i decided to do a research on the topic that am going to be sharing with you now
.

According to research more than 95% of people have no idea about why they refresh their computer often. Some have original intentions which prompt them to take this action, but what really happens when you click on refresh become a question to pounder upon, maybe possibly because we have a program that is not responding, or we are running many program and we just want the computer to boost up its performance.

In the case of refresh, your monitor also undergoes refresh without you noticing, or having to do it yourself, because it already set by the manufactural on default. To display a video, animation or anything, a monitor has to repaint its content frequently at about 60 times per second. It is known as monitor refresh rate, with standard refresh rate for a high-definition display set on 60 Hz, meaning the monitor will have to repaint its content 60 times per second without you observing anything but just the smooth flow of the playing video. Pretty fast, did you know that?

Let’s comeback to our normal refresh, which will do by right clicking with our mouse on the desktop and selecting refresh, which have become a regular habit to many of us :). This is what really happens, just like what your monitor do by default, when your click on refresh, the computer show its current status by eliminating all other program that have finish execution but still occupies a particular cache space in the video memory of your system, then supplies it with the up to date information without improving your CPU performance, but rather showing you the current state of your computer desktop, or an ongoing task.

What we should know is that the Desktop is nothing but a folder in the Windows operating system which is programmed to auto-refresh when its contents change, or when a new file or folder is added. When the contents of the folder changes, it will auto-refresh. But at times, you may find that the desktop or folder does not auto-refresh that is why you manually need to refresh so that the current state of the desktop will be updated. There is no need or reason to do this though, is just a habit, we simply need to break. Do you have friends who are in habit of using Refresh Desktop option frequently? Maybe you want to share this post with them.
