The Court of Arbitration for
Sport has relaxed the ban on Luis Suarez’s for biting a player during a match.
It was added that
even if the ban was upheld by him still serving his full
match suspension from club football until late October, which will make him
miss eight La Liga matches and three Champions League group games, he will now be
allowed to start training Barcelona.
The now Barcelona striker’s
who left Liverpool for the Nou Camp last month in a £75million deal, appeal
against Fifa’s four-month ban from all football-related activity for his bite
on Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup was upheld on 14th Aug
2014 – but the Uruguayan player has been cleared to train
with his new club.Barca is relieved he can now
train with his new team-mates in Nou Camp and put himself in contention to make
his debut against Real Madrid.
